Good practice and precautions to prevent getting sick:
- Washing your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer often to prevent the spread of germs from surfaces and contact with people.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or cough into your upper arm and not into your hands. Wear a facial mask in order to prevent spreading sickness through coughs or sneezes.
- Communicating with your doctor or any health care professional that you may be feeling under the weather so they can make necessary precautions in protecting themselves and other patients.
- Eliminate contamination by thoroughly cleaning, disinfecting or sterilizing surfaces and materials when necessary.
